ABOUT ABOUT

Are you a passionate educator in the field of sexuality and sexual health? Are you interested in meeting and networking with other people who are committed to matters of reproductive and social justice? Do you want an opportunity to share your own knowledge and resources with others in your field?

If so, this is the perfect place for you! Please join PASHI, AccessMatters, and the Widener University Center for Human Sexuality Studies for our Sexual Health Educators Networking Event!

This event is for anyone interested in sexual health across the lifespan. This includes sexual health educators, social workers, sex therapists, or people who are not working in the field, but have an interest in sexual health and reproductive justice.

Attendance is FREE. If you would like to support the event and the work of the sponsoring organizations, there is an option to provide a donation when you register.

What we are bringing:

  • A commitment to connecting individuals and organizations that share a common interest in and passion for sexual health education.
  • Non-alcoholic drinks, wine, beer, and hors d’oeuvres!
  • A theater-based performance about adolescent sexual health that demonstrates how theater can be used as a tool in sexual health education.
  • An opportunity to get involved in local education and advocacy efforts around sex education in Pennsylvania
  • A desire to learn more about you and the important work that you do!

What you can bring:

  • Your experience, ideas, energy, and passion for comprehensive sexual health education
  • Any resources or informational pamphlets that you would like us to table
  • Your excitement to share with and learn from other educators!

This is a networking event and will mostly be social.  Please bring business cards and your dazzling personality as you connect with others working to make Philadelphia a city with amazing sexual health programs and services.
